ESBJERG SOCCER ACADEMY, Ghana
We were supposed to participate in last year's tournament but failed to do so due to the problems we encountered at the British High Commission in Accra, Ghana in connection with the granting of visas to our team. That notwithstanding, we managed to send our club's representative to witness the tournament and indeed it was really worth it as he came back to Ghana with fond memories of what took place in Liverpool. He described the event as a wonderful platform of showcasing real soccer talents at the youth level. It is the philosophy behind the establishment of our team to nurture soccer talents who are expected to make it to the topmost level in future. That was exactly what our representative saw in Liverpool and has not hidden his dreams and aspirations of seeing our club participate in the 2003 edition of the tournament. He also described the organisational aspect of the event as great and we will no doubt cherish every moment of the 2003 event.
We, at Esbjerg Soccer Academy, Ghana, say congratulations and we recommend the tournament to every youth club across the world that has the ambition of exposing it's players to the rudiments of international soccer to consider joining the Liverpool-Knowsley International Youth Soccer Tournament as we are sure of joining the thrills and excitement in the 2003 event.
As the Director of our academy, I have had the opportunity of also witnessing the tournament and also share the same opinion as my representative and hope my team will make it to Liverpool and Knowsley this time around.
